Message from Lauren Perlin, Gala Chair,
We are heartbroken over the events taking place in Baltimore City and we have been in close touch with State and City public safety officials. Because of both the continuing unrest downtown and the citywide 10:00 p.m. curfew, we have decided to move the Storybook Gala. We’re thrilled to announce that we've found a new home for the event at the Maryland State Fairgrounds (Home Arts Building) in Timonium.
I know that this changed venue will not diminish our support of Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, a very important Baltimore City institution. I want to thank the hospital staff and event planning firm Union3 Event Productions for their creative thinking and quick work to find us a new location. I can assure you of an enchanted evening thanks to the creative event team and delicious catering by Linwood’s.
If you had booked a hotel room at the Hyatt, please cancel your room. A new room block is available at the Hunt Valley Inn, a Wyndham Grand Hotel. Click this link (from your computer) to book your room.
I look forward to seeing you on Saturday night. Driving directions can be found here. We will provide complimentary valet parking for all guests.
